Kirtlington Polo Schools

"from Beginners to Winners"

Over the past few years, many talented players have started their careers at Kirtlington Park Polo Club and the talent shows every sign of going from strength to strength this season.

Four polo schools are offering their services this year to help at all levels - from complete newcomers to the game right through to established players who are just looking for that extra something to give them the edge.

"My first job was for a high goal team and I worked my way from there. I realized very early on that polo, on any level, is all about the horses and your ability to 'make' them. I started to spot and buy youngsters off the track and turn them into polo ponies. And I've never stopped!"

"La Rosada Polo is steered along by Nico Fontanarrosa and his wife Mandy. Based in the UK and in Argentina, we have access to all the different dynamics that make polo a wonderful and exciting sport - both for the amateur and the professional. Whatever your polo needs, we can help you with lessons, chukkas, tournaments, ponies, polo holidays and pony livery."

La Tarde (click for website) - just 45 minutes from Buenos Aires city

"We offer a complete service from a one- day introduction to personally tailored intensive polo clinics. We accommodate all levels from beginners to the experienced. At La Tarde our philosophy is to make polo fun for our guests, yet give them the knowledge and skill to master the exciting sport."

"My clients range across the ages; I tutor schools, universities, individuals and teams, tailoring tuition to suit the ambitions of the client. Some people want to play tournaments, others just want a taster in one day, while yet others want to find a new pastime."
